Project Overview
Eleyele Dam was built in 1942 as an earth dam. It was badly hit by the August 26, 2011 flood event which rendered most of its appurtenances decrepit and caused huge loss of lives and property downstream. Hence, the dam was listed for rehabilitation as part of the IUFMP interventions.
